Brief overview

The School will be organised as a series of lectures and demonstrations by experts in the field. It will provide detailed background, theory, methodology and practical training on VIGS in cereal and non-cereal plant species for early stage researchers. The participants will learn how to design and run VIGS experiments and how to apply various experimental techniques in practical work.

How to apply:

Trainees will be supported by a grant (1000 Euro) of either of the COST Actions involved, covering travel and subsistence. A maximum of 14 Trainees will be accepted (7 from each Action involved).

Young researchers from countries which are members of PlantEngine COST Action are invited to send a letter of intent (application) describing:

  • CV
  • 1 page of how their project would benefit from this TS
  • Letter of recommendation of head of the lab
